THE FLYCATCHER | COMING SOON.
The compelling story of a student, who has an intimate relationship with a girl, while at the same time being in love with a boy. Because of this ‘double fault’ he is banished from the monastery where he is undertaking his studies. As a young new priest he flees abroad in shame, where he leads a life full of passion and deceit. He falls into the hands of the Nazis during the Second World War, but is able to avoid his execution by catching flies in the office of the camp commander. Following his escape, he wanders through Italy as Count Ravelli, mostly at the side of remarkable women. As a crippled beggar, an artist and the lover of many, he continues to yearn for the purity of his childhood. Finally, the ‘flycatcher’ goes in search of the two great loves of his youth.

This film is inspired by a true story.
